New exhibition at Imperial War Museum North 鈥業n the Spotlight鈥
A Second World War pistol - stolen from a Nazi guard by a remarkable female agent has just gone on display at Imperial War Museum North.听Parachuted into France during the Second World War, Odette Hallowes ran resistance operations against the Nazis until she was betrayed, tortured and then sent to the Ravensbruck concentration camp. So, why did her captors think that she was related to Winston Churchill and听how did she manage to keep her secrets despite having听her toe nails painfully removed?听Jenni is joined by听historian Dr Juliette Pattinson, from听the University of Strathclyde.
