For only the second time in its history the Royal Albert Hall is听putting听on听a fully staged musical. Rodgers and听Hammerstein鈥檚 The King and I takes the audience inside the grandeur of Siam鈥檚 royal court. Starring opposite Daniel Dae Kim (of Lost fame), Maria Friedman plays Anna, the British governess brought in to tutor the King鈥檚 children. The star of numerous West End musicals, Maria has won three Olivier awards and worked with some of the world鈥檚 most gifted composers and lyricists. She joins Jenni to talk about how she has refashioned her career in recent years, and what it is that still drives her forward.
