Sandra Beale has been practising karate for 18 years and has just become the first woman to achieve Shihan or master status in her particular branch of karate. This is despite repeated and serious bouts of illness earlier in her life. She also teaches karate and specialises in classes for children with autism and Asperger's. She joins Jane to talk about her life, her career in karate and about what makes it such a good sport for children.
