Post mortems Monday 30 July 2001
Michaela Willis's son Daniel died aged seven days at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. She later discovered his heart had been retained after the post mortem without her knowledge.

She has since campaigned to change the post mortem consent system and improve communication between doctor and parents.
Irene Scheimberg is a Paediatric Pathologist at University College London. She wasn't involved in the events of Bristol or Liverpool but the revelations of the public enquiries have had an effect on all members of her profession.
The two women have now joined forces to train doctors on how to get informed consent from parents and tell Sheila how they hope to improve the system.
If you would like help or information please call the Radio 4 Actionline on 0800 044 044.
