Nawal el-Sadaawi Tuesday 31 July 2001
Nawal el-Sadaawi Woman's Hour has been following the case of the Egyptian feminist Nawal el-Saadawi as she continues to fight for the right to call herself a Muslim.

Earlier this year she was accused of insulting Islam. It was argued she could no longer call herself a Muslim and consequently she must be forced to divorce her husband.
Nawal went to court on Monday (30th July) to save her marriage and she tells Sheila what happened.
