Ìý Rita Duffy Friday 9 November 2001 Ìý
Rita Duffy , a Belfast-based artist, has been working closely with residents in west Belfast to turn their home - the Divis Flats - into a high-rise illuminated tapestry for the finale of this year's Belfast Festival.

The Drawing The Blinds project was inspired by fellow Belfast artist Gerard Dillon, who used to create images on his window blinds and light them up at night for local children.
The image of the flats has appeared in much of Rita's paintings and works before.
She joins Martha to talk about her work and the important role artists have to play in post-conflict Northern Ireland.
Drawing the Blinds will be at the Divis Flats, Belfast on Saturday 10 November at 7pm.
