Fatima Gailani Friday 30 November 2001
In Bonn this week, the first tentative steps have been taken towards ensuring that women's rights are enshrined in any future Afghan government.

Yesterday, the Delegations - all male, apart from three women - agreed that women would have the right to an education, the right to work and the right to have a role in politics.
Fatima Gailani is an Afghan exile now living in America. Members of her family lead the Peshawar Delegation at the Bonn talks.
Fatima is in Bonn in the role of adviser, and gave Martha her reaction to the new commitment to women's rights.
