Pussy Galore, Plenty O'Toole, Honey Ryder - otherwise known as the glamorous bond girls are being celebrated in a new exhibition.
The longest running film series ever, is 40 years old. From the first Bond film, Dr No, released in 1962, in the midst of the cold war to the present, its characters have adapted to the changing world around it.
James Bond has encountered many women during the course of these adventures. Some have been friends and many enemies. Ian Fleming's "pillow fantasies," as the creator liked to call his female characters, are being brought to life again.
The exhibition runs until September 2002 at the National Museum of Photography, film and Television
