Sylvie Guillem fostered by Nureyev and famed for her extraordinary technical prowess, Sylvie Guillem has returned to Covent Garden.
She has won countless awards and became an étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet in 1984, after her first performance of Swan Lake.
Currently performing in the title role of
Carmen
with the Royal Ballet, she joins Martha Kearney to discuss her controversial new role.
