In a certain suburb of Bradford there is a group of middle-aged women roaming the streets. Even the police have been encouraging them.
It is part of a scheme developed to help deter street crime, run by the organisation SAFE (Safer Areas for Everyone). Woman's Hour reporter, Lesley Hilton, joins the so-called Mum's Army to report on their efforts to cut street crime.
