The Medicalisation of Society Thursday 5 September 2002
Are we too quick to diagnose medical conditions in adults and children with drugs?

Treating children with psychiatric drugs used to be taboo, but each year more and more British children are being prescribed drugs like Ritalin to help both them and their parents handle their behavioural problems.
