Endsleigh House, nestling deep in the Devon countryside, is one of the few places left untouched by modern life.
Built in 1810 by some of England's wealthiest aristocrats, the Duke and Duchess of Bedford, the history of Endsleigh is enmeshed with that of its controversial mistress.
