Ìý Women Photographers Monday 24 February 2003 Ìý
The Format Photographic Agency was set up in 1983 and acted only on behalf of women photographers.

Their aim was to document the world from a different perspective and an exhibition to mark the twentieth anniversary of the agency - and also to coincide with its closure - shows images of the first Lesbian only march in London, women dancing on a missile at Greenham Common and the ordination of the first woman priest in England.
Harriet Logan is a freelance photojournalist and Maggie Murray was one of the founders of Format join Jenni to discuss whether the women did achieve their aim.
Format Photographic Agency exhibition runs until 22 March 2003 at Photofusion, 17a Electric Street, Brixton, London SW9 8LA. Tel: 020 7738 5774.
