With ethnic minorities now making up 9% of the UK's population, the number of elderly ethnic minorities is set to increase ten fold over the next 30 years.
The largest ethnic minority group in the UK are South Asians, who have traditionally been seen as taking care of their elderly within the family. But things are changing, with more people abandoning the traditional extended family.
