If you haven't managed to pick up that it is International Woman's Day yet, then you've just not been paying attention.
In Islamabad there are protests about the treatment of women in Afghanistan. In Nairobi there's a United Nations conference about women in Africa. If you were a woman in Italy you would be given a bunch of mimosa - from all the men you know. Always the romantics.
In Dublin, Anne Enright is taking an original approach to International Woman's Day.
