Biography Writing Tuesday 8 April 2003
Biographies, it seems, are rarely out of the bestseller lists. And women biographers have rarely seen so much success as now.

But as we revel in the detail of the lives of Pepys, Darwin, and Franklin - to name but a few - what of the lives of the authors who painstakingly map out these existences? What effect does the process of delving into another's life have on your own?
Celia Sandys whose writing focuses solely on her grandfather Winston Churchill, and Jane Dunn, the biographer of Elizabeth and Mary, join Jenni to discuss the process.
Churchill, Published by Contender April 10 2003, ISBN: 1843570491 & Chasing Churchill: The Travels of Winston Churchill, Published by HarperCollins, April 7 2003, ISBN: 000710040X, both written by Celia Sandys.
Elizabeth and Mary: Cousins, Rivals, Queens, by Jane Dunn, Published by HarperCollins 17 March 2003, ISBN: 0002571501
