Fell running Thursday 12 February 2004
Fell racing is not for the faint-hearted. Hundreds of people gather will gather at the start of a fell race, run all the way up a very high peak and all the way back again.

There is a thriving women's veteran sector in fell running and they'll be taking part in the Carnethy 5 Hills race near Edinburgh this weekend.

Dr Wendy Dodds is a Consultant Rheumatologist in Lancaster and she's so fit she once ran fifty Lake District peaks in a day. It's the equivalent of climbing the height of Everest. Caz Graham went to meet her and some other veteran runners at a Lake District Mountain Trial at Buttermere in Cumbria.
Wendy Dodds is on 大象传媒 2 this Sunday evening when she takes part in SAS Desert Are You Tough Enough
