Fatima Guilani Friday 27 February 2004
New elections are due to take place in Afghanistan in June. Twenty million people are eligible to vote but only eight hundred thousand have registered, of whom two hundred thousand are women.

Fatima Guilani is leading the campaign to get more female voters. She was one of the commissioners who drew up the country's new constitution. She joins Martha to talk about her hopes for the campaign.
