Children and war crimes 18 Mar 2004
Saranda Bogujevci survived a massacre in Kosovo in 1999 in which 19 people were killed - 8 of them Saranda's immediate relatives including her mother, grand mother and two younger brothers.

Saranda herself was just 13 at the time and was shot 16 times. Last year she was among a group of children who returned to Belgrade to give evidence at the trial of one of the men accused of the massacre.

Yesterday Sasa Cvjetan was found guilty of the murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison for war crimes.

Pam Dawes from Manchester Aid to Kosovo and Carolyn Hamilton Director, Children and Armed Conflict Unit , Essex University join Jenni to discuss which is the best way for children to give evidence at war crimes trials.
