Ìý Sophie Ward 25ÌýMar 2004 Ìý
Image: Sophie Ward
Actress Sophie Ward talks to Jenni about her life and career.

Last yearÌýSophie was praised for her 'brilliant' and 'tough and unyielding' performance in the Citizen's Theatre production of Nothing, her spinsterish Olga in Chekov's Three Sisters was described by the critics as excellent, and she's about to star alongside Christopher Ecclestone in Electricity at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

It's not just the strength of her performances which have gained actress Sophie Ward a high profile - as the daughter of actor Simon Ward she was born into a family accustomed to life in the public eye. But it was her decision to leave her husband for a woman which really grabbed the headlines.
