Ìý Photographer, Dyanita Singh 06 AprÌý2004 Ìý
Dayanita Singh is arguably India's most promising contemporary photographer. Since the mid-1990s she has had several exhibitions in art galleries across Europe.

Her third book, Privacy, is a collection of portraits of India's urban middle and upper class families, of people working partying or resting at home. It shows people as they would like to see themselves, in the middle of splendidly decorated rooms, surrounded by possessions that represent their self-image.

Dayanita joins Jenni to talk about her work.

Privacy by Dayanita Singh published by Steidl ISBN 3882439629.
