It is estimated that there is a shortage of around 8,000 foster carers in the UK.听What prevents more people from fostering, and how can the barriers be overcome?
Up to 50,000 children and young people are currently in foster care.听Is this due to the fact that so many women now work full-time work, or that many couples rely on two incomes?
