Women in Space Experiment 12听October听2004
The European Space Agency want to get more women into space.听Have you got what it takes?

Since Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman into space in 1963, only 42 other women have followed her. With just 10% of all astronauts being women, this has led to very little information being collected about the way that they function in space. The European Space Agency is now calling for women to volunteer for trials to help redress this balance.

Dr Peter Jost talks about why the project needs women to volunteer for trials to help study prolonged weightlessness on the female body
