Nonagenarian teacher, harpist and band member
Dorothy Pettitt doesn鈥檛 like to reveal her exact age, but at over 90 she鈥檚 believed to be the oldest harp teacher in the country. But teaching is just one part of her repertoire, as most weekends she鈥檚 out performing with a local band.
She鈥檚 also a collector who still makes many of her own instruments. But Dorothy didn鈥檛 pick up the harp until she was in her sixties and was looking for a hobby after retiring as a school teacher.
Jane Gething-Lewis went to meet her at her home in Herefordshire.
