British schoolgirls meet their counterparts in India

Today听is the launch of听 World Class, a pan 大象传媒 initiative to encourage schools to establish links between classrooms across the globe.听

The benefits of children from the UK meeting and sharing experiences with children from other countries can be huge.听 Not only are perceptions and stereotypes challenged, but firm friendships are made.

Save the Children and Giving Nation recently gave听8 schoolgirls from Stroud the chance to visit a residential听camp in Rajasthan.听Girls in the region rarely receive an education and the school offers girls a chance to receive five years of education in just six months.
