When is the right age for classes?

Parents are gearing up to find out which primary school their child will go to. But recent research has revealed that 4 to 6 year-olds are turned off education by feeling pushed into formal classes.

So what is the right age to start formal lessons? Martha discusses this with Caroline Sharp from the National Foundation for Educational Research and Katie Ivens, Vice-Chair of the Campaign for Real Education.
