Breadfruit听

In America there's a whole institute devoted to them. And they were the main cargo on William Bligh's ship, the Bounty, when the mutiny took place back in the 1780s.

They're breadfruit, and the Bounty was taking them from the islands of the central Pacific Ocean to the West Indies, as cheap foodstuff for the slaves on the cotton plantations. Now, they're a staple of many an Afro-Caribbean meal.
