Ìý Milk in schools 24 Jan 2006 Ìý
Does milk still matter?

MilkÌýis a food stuff traditionally associated with childhoodÌýand many of us remember those little glass bottles of the over warm white stuff at morning playtime. But is it time to reassess itsÌýplace in children's diet? The Government has just announcedÌýthey're going to continue to subsidise it in schools, against expertÌýadvice.

Dr Stephen Walsh, The Vegan SocietyÌýand Tom Sanders, Professor of Nutrition & Dietetics join Jenni to dicuss if The Government areÌýsimply wary of being labelled milk snatchers or isÌýmilk still a fantastic food stuff to be giving the next generation?Ìý
