Gerry Wan: Reflections of life in Scotland

Born in China and growing up in Hong Kong, Gerry Wan moved to Scotland to join his family over 40 years ago. He reflects on Scottish life and looks back to when he first trained as a professional chef, introducing genuine Chinese cuisine to Scotland. Now a successful restaurateur, he talks about his experiences of settling and integrating into Scottish culture, yet still retaining his cultural identity as a member of the Chinese community.
