Entry of the fleet

It's Festival Week in Stornoway, and apart from much music, it is also the time for Sail Hebrides. In spite of some dreich conditions, the entry of the little flotilla, shepherded by coastguard tug Anglian Prince, went smoothly. A few pics:

Nice pics Arnish, we saw the bottom boat whilst we were in Stornoway during the week, but weren't quite sure what type it was ( and my husband professes to be an islander! I'll freely admit to being a landlubber and thereby clueless when it comes to boats)

Am informed that the bottom boat is in fact a "sgoth niseach", and I think it's called An sulaire. Corrections welcome of course. A sgoth is a traditional fishing boat from Ness [hence the adjective "niseach"].

Is sgoth gaelic for skiff?
