Her inspiration is the beautiful Much Wenlock countryside. But Beverly also manages to bring a fun, and often quirky, approach to a traditional subject. Working from the stone-built Marsh Barn studio in the heart of the Much Wenlock countryside it's no wonder that artist Beverley Fry enjoys her work. Drawing inspiration from the landscape and particularly its relationship with grazing cattle, she specialises in colourful and dynamic paintings, in both oils and watercolours. Beverley Fry boasts a national and international reputation. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Royal Academy and appear in the collection of the Duchess of Kent.听 Her work has also been featured in 大象传媒 documentaries, as well as exhibitions throughout the UK, USA, France and Ireland. Poppy Cow by Beverley Fry Flowers, particularly poppies, have become a trademark. Farm animals are another. Appropriate then that one of Beverley's strangest items is a life-size plastic cow, colourfully decorated with poppies and other flowers... and named Poppy (of course). Poppy the cow was created in 2004 for Cow Parade, a charity event which featured around 500 plastic cows decorated by different artists. Originally born in the foothills of the Rockies, the natural environment has always inspired Beverley Fry's work. While the scale of the surrounding mountains may not be quite so grand, Much Wenlock still provides the perfect stimulus for her art.
