It is not long before she becomes successful and after her first brush with compromise, Meghna gradually realises that success comes at a price. As she climbs the ladder of fame and fortune through a romance with a business mogul, Meghna rises to walk the ramps of top designers from Paris to Delhi.
It's at this point in time that the fashion world lies at her feet - the parties, the brand endorsements, the photographers, the flashbulbs, the shows. But soon her luck runs out as Megha slowly starts paying for her fame.
She eventually returns to her hometown as a heartbroken diva. Her family, who once turned against her, now welcome her back. They help her piece her life back together and be the girl she once was, and encourage her to pursue her dream in the fashion world once again.

Madhur Bhandarkar is renowned for making films depicting the harsh realities of life. These include the likes of Page 3 and Corporate, dealing with the business world, while Traffic Signal and Chandni Bar showcased the life of people on the streets of Mumbai.
But now Bhandarkar is ready to reveal the harsh realities of the glamour world in Fashion, said to be his most expensive project to date. Priyanka Chopra plays a small-town girl from Chandigarh who heads to Mumbai to become a model.
Upcoming actress Kangana Ranaut plays the character of a famous supermodel already established in the industry, while real-life model Arjan Bajwa makes his Bollywood film debut.
Fashion releases in UK cinemas this October by UTV Motion Pictures based in London.
