One fine evening, she overhears a telephone conversation between her husband and another woman. She is shocked to find that he's having an affair.
Her simple home meaning the world to her, crumbles before her very eyes. It is then that she realises how Vikram had slowly degenerated her confidence and self esteem during their married life - he stopped her from achieving her dream of becoming a singer.
During a conversation with her neighbour, Mrs. Mathur, who is looking for an ideal tenant, she conjures up her fantasy man, Jai (Randeep Hooda).

With the help of Jai, who always appears in her dreams as different characters, she regains her confidence. He inspires her to pursue her ultimate dream of singing.
Maya's neighbours support her in starting a musical band. She embarks on a journey of self realisation. Will her fantasy turn into reality or will reality hinder her dreams?
Madhureeta Anand makes her Bollywood debut with this romance. The highlight of the movie is Randeep Hooda playing 18 characters ranging from Dharmendra, Kamal Hasan, Amitabh Bachchan to Zorro, James Bond and Humphrey Bogart.
Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye will see Raima Sen in one of her finest performances to date. The film is expected to release in February 2009.
