Jai (Fardeen Khan) and Veeru (Kunal Khemu) were very close friends at one time. But now they find themselves on the opposite sides of the law.
There is one person who hates them more than they hate each other - ruthless gangster, Tejpal (Arbaaz Khan). He wants to kill them both for personal reasons only known to him.
A strange twist of fate sees Jai and Veeru in each others company. They are on the run to escape the deadly clutches of Tejpal. With a little luck, the boys may just get out of this one alive. That鈥檚 if they don't kill each other first!
Will their friendship survive? Jai Veeru has all the answers when this comical thriller releases. The film title, Jai Veeru, seems to have been inspired by characters of the same name from the all time classic, Sholay depicting friendship.
It is directed by Puneet Sira who earlier made, I - Proud To Be An Indian (2004). Sira is also currently busy shooting for Kisaan (2009) starring Jackie Shroff, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Dia Mirza in lead roles.
