Director: Ram Gopal Verma
Cast: Nitin Reddy, Nisha Kothari, Ravi Kale
This Bollywood horror flick focuses on a film crew. They venture out on a faraway location on a shooting schedule. En route, an incident occurs in a dense jungle forcing them to set up camp.
Terrifying events begin to happen with the crew members during the night. One by one they face a horrific death.
Petrified by the incidents, they are unable to uncover who is behind these gruesome killings. Is it a man, an animal or a creature? They refer to it as the ‘entity’.
The members of the film crew are made up of various characters. There is a self-obsessed film star whom the lead actress is forced to get on.
A miserly producer who thinks his money is being wasted by the director not doing his job properly.
Meanwhile, a frustrated director who himself has a chip on his shoulders, thinks he is the next Steven Spielberg.
Whilst the director's assistant has a secret crush on the lead actress, we also have a frustrated action director who has a hidden maniacal streak about him.
Last but not the least we have a highly passive spot boy who harbours a very perverted secret.
These are only few of the assorted characters making up the film crew. As the entity or alien force hunts them down, their suppressed feelings come into the open.
This makes them realise that they must fight not only for their lives but also for their other work colleagues.
As they gradually get killed, the remaining characters desperately struggle to survive this invisible entity which is faster than them, smarter than them and hell bent on destroying them.
The thriller shockingly portrays how each member of different character come together in order to evade the impeding death.
Ronnie Screwvala and master of horror, Ram Gopal Varma join forces in producing this horror flick. Film shooting took place in the wilderness of Sigirya jungles of Sri Lanka.
Ram Gopal Verma confirms that Aygaat has the freakiest special effects to scare audiences out of their wits. Leaving no stones unturned, Aygaat has all the frights and shocks to get audiences shaking in their seats!
A summer release is expected forÌý this most anticipated horror.
