We’re pleased to announce that a ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds widget is now available on iOS 14.4 and above.Ìý
The widget will give you quick access to the schedule of your favourite ´óÏó´«Ã½ radio station soÌýyou canÌýsee what's on now and nextÌýat a glance. Tapping on the widget will launch the app on the full schedule.
How to add a widget:Ìý
- Update the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds app – you’ll need to open the app at least once before the widget becomes available
- Hold your finger on any app or empty space on the home screen until your apps start jiggling
- Tap the + in the upper left corner
Ìý - Select ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds from the list of available widgets, or use the search.ÌýChoose the small or medium widget and tap ‘+ Add Widget’
Ìý - Long-pressÌýonÌýthe ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds widget and select ‘Edit Widget’. This will allow you to select which ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio station is displayed within the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds Widget.Ìý
Ìý - Position the widget on the home screen on your iPhone, or in the Today View on an iPhone or iPad. You can place it on top of a Stack within Today View
- To finish, either tapÌýDoneÌýin the upper right corner, or tap off the widget anywhere else on the screen.Ìý Ìý
How to change Radio station for an existing ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds widget:
- Hold your finger on any app or empty space on the home screen (or Today View)Ìýuntil your apps start jiggling
- Tap the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds widget
- Click Edit Widget Select your preferred ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio station
- Click outside of the Widget to confirm your selection
How to change Radio station on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds widget on the lock screen:
- Long-press on the lock screen
- Select 'Customise'
- Select your lock screen. This will access the 'Edit' mode.
- Tap the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds widget. Tap again to find the list of stations.
- Select the station you'd like to show.
