Sheffield United fans will be given the opportunity to celebrate their team's promotion to the Premiership, as players and staff embark on a parade on an open top bus ride from Bramall Lane. It's the first time the Blades will contest the Premiership title in twelve years, and the club will enjoy a parade and civic reception at the Town Hall to mark the occasion. Celebrations Players and staff from United will board two busses on Wednesday, 3 May, from the ground and make their way to Sheffield's Town Hall, departing from the Lane at 5pm. The busses will travel along St Mary's Gate, Eyre Street, Arundel Gate, and Norfolk Street, before parking on Surrey Street close to the entrance to the Town Hall.听 The players and management will appear on the balcony of the Town Hall from 6 - 6.45pm. The roads along the route will be closed whilst the buses travel along them, with the exception of Norfolk Street, each will reopen once the buses have passed. Two big screens will be erected in the city centre, either side of the Town Hall, giving all the chance to get a good view of the players and management on the balcony.听 Bookmark this website as we'll be bringing you pictures from the celebrations, of fans and the players celebrating.
