Natalie moved from Sheffield to a tiny village in South Wales with her husband and children, but within months found herself a single parent with three small children and no family or friends nearby. On a visit back to Sheffield, Natalie took her kids back to visit their old Hillsborough primary school and they were all welcomed with open arms. The headmistress who knew of the difficulties Natalie had been facing told her that if she ever wanted to come back to Sheffield, Sacred Heart school would help her. Three months later Natalie moved back to Sheffield and her kids went back to Sacred Heart primary school. Now several years later, they are all doing well; the oldest at college and university and the youngest still having a great time at Sacred Heart. Natalie said: "When I think about what was a significant change [in my life] - who was there for me, it was the school. "And it's not just me - it opens its arms out to everybody. It's ethos is to be a caring, sharing, accommodating primary school and it is just that."
