House possibly belonging to Woodbourne Road School

Definitely Park Keepers Lodge at Brightside "Rec". Played there in the 60's and 70's. I used to live on Stupton Road. Park Keeper Mr Fidler, I went to school with his son Ian. Adjacent to the lodge was "the old mens hut" a room where old men would smoke and play crib and generally hang out. It used to be an immaculately kept place but is now run down, the lodge has been demolished.

Gwyneth Leighton
