Put our region's music on the map!

We want to know which sounds make you grin!

Our region is legendary as one of the UK's musical hotbeds.

But it's not just pop and rock that get our musical tastebuds going.

There are all sorts of ingredients in South Yorkshire's sonic stew. ..

Over the next few weeks, we're compiling a map of all the different musical cultures on offer locally.

Whether it's samba in Sheffield, or rai in Rotherham, we want to let everyone know!

So if you know a local musician or group we should be featuring - or you fit the bill yourself - click here.

And if you've a favourite clubnight or event that's guaranteed to float your musical boat, spread the word here.

Better still, head into our Open Centre at 54 Shoreham Street, Sheffield.

Drop in, register your suggestions via our PCs - and you could walk off with a music-related freebie.

We're working in partnership with Ony Bright's show, on 大象传媒 Radio Sheffield.

From 7 'til 10 on Friday nights, it's our region's finest blend of rich and funky sounds from right across the planet.
