Transfer news: City in advanced Cucurella talks

Manchester City聽are in advanced talks to seal the signing of聽Brighton聽and Spain defender Marc Cucurella, 23.聽

Chelsea聽are waiting on Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 29, to complete his loan move to聽Inter Milan聽before acting on their interest in聽Manchester City聽and England forward Raheem Sterling, 27.聽

Sterling will only consider leaving City聽if he is a first-team regular at a club challenging for the Champions League and leading domestic trophies.聽

Southampton聽have attempted to deter interest from聽Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham聽and聽West Ham聽in 27-year-old England midfielder James Ward-Prowse with a 拢75m valuation.聽
