Lauren Price's world title bid against Jessica McCaskill to be shown live on 大象传媒 Wales
Lauren Price's bid to claim her first professional world title will be shown live and free-to-air on 大象传媒 Wales.
Olympic champion Price, 29, faces Jessica McCaskill, 39, for the WBA, IBO and Ring Magazine welterweight titles on 11 May at Cardiff's Utilita Arena.
The fight will be simulcast on Sky Sports and further broadcast details for 大象传媒 Wales' coverage will follow.
"It's incredible to have the support and backing of 大象传媒 Wales and Sky Sports together," Price said.
"When I boxed over in Tokyo for the Olympic Games, the pinnacle of my amateur career, it was covered by the 大象传媒.
"Now, at the pinnacle of my professional career, they'll be covering my world title fight too, which is brilliant."
Ystrad Mynach's Price is bidding to become Wales' first female boxing world champion in just her seventh pro fight but the undefeated fighter faces a tough task against McCaskill.
The American, who has three defeats in 16 contests, unified the WBA and WBC super-lightweight titles before moving up to welterweight to end Cecilia Braekhus' decade-long reign in the division.
McCaskill was beaten by Chantelle Cameron in 2022 in her bid to become a two-weight undisputed champion and has also suffered defeat against Katie Taylor in 2017 at lightweight.
Chicago native McCaskill was scheduled to fight the WBC's mandatory challenger Ivana Habazin in Croatia on the same date in May, but has opted to face Price instead.
The undercard in Cardiff is yet to be finalised, but super-middleweight Mark Jeffers, featherweight Rhys Edwards, heavyweight Moses Jolly, super-middleweight Kyran Jones and super-featherweight Kane Shepherd are expected to defend their unbeaten records at the Utilita Arena.
