Canoe Slalom World Cup: Jonny Dickson wins silver and fellow Briton Mallory Franklin takes bronze

Jonny Dickson won K1 bronze at the Under-23 World Cup in 2022
Great Britain's Jonny Dickson produced a career-best performance to win silver in the men's C1 final at the Canoe Slalom World Cup in Paris.
Dickson knocked three seconds off his semi-final time to secure a first international senior medal, crossing the line in 91.78 seconds.
Reigning world champion Mallory Franklin secured bronze in the women's final.
Franklin set off fifth and clinched third with a time of 111.97secs.
Dickson, 21, has made three finals in his debut year with the senior GB team and was delighted to reach the podium at that level.
"I've been dreaming of putting down a run like that in a senior final for years, so to put down the same time as one of the best in the world is amazing," he said.
Frenchman Titouan Castryck beat Dickson to win the men's final, while Jess Fox of Australia was victorious in the women's race.
