England's Sam Billings signs Kent contract extension
England one-day wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings has signed an extension to his contract with Kent.
The 24-year-old has played five one-day internationals and five Twenty20 internationals since making his debut in June last year.
He also scored 693 runs at an average of 29.80 in Division Two in 2015.
"It is pleasing that we now have a solid core of players on longer-term contracts," Kent chief executive Jamie Clifford told
"It will be exciting to see just how far he and others can go."
Kent have not disclosed the length of Billings' new deal at Canterbury.
Billings is currently representing the England Lions in Dubai but will link up with the senior team ahead of the World T20 following a spell with Pakistan Super League side Islamabad United.
