Zimbabwe name four uncapped players for Ireland Test

Zimbabwe have included uncapped quartet Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, Joylord Gumbie and Johnathan Campbell in their squad to face Ireland in a one-off Test at Stormont later this month.

Wicketkeeper-batters Madande and Gumbie have been called up along with all-rounders Bennett and Campbell.

They are part of a 15-strong squad travelling for the first Test match between the teams in Belfast on 25-29 July.

It will also be the first Test to be played in Northern Ireland while Zimbabwe last played red-ball cricket at home to the West Indies in February last year.

Craig Ervine will captain Zimabwe with Sean Williams, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava also adding experience.
