Essex's Benkenstein signs to play in Nepal T20 league

Essex all-rounder Luc Benkenstein has signed to play for Chitwan Rhinos in the inaugural Nepal Premier League T20 tournament.
The 19-year-old son of Lancashire head coach Dale Benkenstein has played 30 white-ball games for Essex in the 20 and 50-over formats.
He has taken four wickets in 11 T20s and 13 in 19 List A matches with his leg-spin.
His strike rate with the bat in 20-over games is 158.
England Under-19 captain Benkenstein, who signed a new three-year contract with Essex in the summer, joins Gloucestershire's South African fast bowler Marchant de Lange in the Rhinos squad.
The NPL, which features eight franchise teams, begins on the 30 November, with the final taking place on 21 December.
