Taylor suspended after failing drugs test
Dominic Taylor has been suspended by the Darts Regulation Authority for failing a drugs test.
Taylor, 26, tested positive for a banned substance at a recent Players Championship event.
He was due to face former world champion Michael Smith in the Players Championship finals on Friday but has withdrawn and been replaced by Nick Kenny.
The world number 80 will attend a disciplinary hearing on a date to be confirmed.
Taylor, who won a Challenge Tour title in 2023, earned a two-year Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour card in January after progressing through Qualifying School.
He reached the quarter-finals of a Players Championship event last month, where he was beaten by Gary Anderson.
