Yeovil Town appoint Paul Wotton as new captain

Yeovil Town midfielder Paul Wotton has been named as their new captain.

The 33-year-old, , takes over from Paul Huntington, who will now become vice-captain.

"It was a tough one as Huntington did so well last season," manager Terry Skiverton told 大象传媒 Somerset.

"But he [Wotton] has a strong voice in the changing room, he leads by example and he's also just got that little bit more experience."

He added: "Paul [Huntington] was injured for a lot of pre-season so missed out on what we were doing but I'm really happy with them going into the season as captain and vice-captain."

Wotton was originally signed on loan at the turn of the year but soon earned a permanent deal and went on to make 17 appearances, scoring twice.
