Swansea continued their preparations for the new Premier League season with an impressive victory over Scottish Cup winners Celtic.

Second half goals from Angel Rangel and Stephen Dobbie secured the win for Brendan Rodgers' side.

The Swans host Real Betis in their final pre-season fixture on Saturday.

Danny Graham, making his home debut, and Angel Rangel went close for the home side before Celtic's Garry Hooper saw his effort deflected for a corner.

Trialist goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel was forced made a fine save to deny Kris Commons on 17 minutes.

Swansea finished the half strongly with Nathan Dyer firing wide before Graham went close with a header following Alan Tate's cross.

After the interval Dyer failed to get a shot away in time after linking with Rangel while Georgios Samaras dragged an effort wide for the visitors.

Rangel broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute, volleying home after keeper Dominic Cervi failed to hold a low Sinclair free-kick, after Tate was fouled by Celtic's Swansea-born defender Adam Matthews.

Samaras saw an effort ruled out for offside before substitute Dobbie secured victory with seven minutes remaining.
