Liverpool captain Vicky Jones has urged the Reds to win their final Women's Super League game of the season when they face Arsenal on Sunday.

The Gunners could secure the title but Jones' team lie bottom on seven points.

"There are definitely a lot of positives but we've got to look at the reasons why we are where we are in the league," she told .

"It's our last game and Arsenal want to win the league. It's time for everyone to stand up and be counted."

Jones added: "We don't want them to win as we're looking to put in a good performance and take some positives into the Continental Cup game."

Everton, who will end the season in third position, travel to Chelsea at the weekend .

Mo Marley's side had been considered title contenders, but captain Jody Handley says the team must now build momentum ahead of the Continental Cup in September.

"Nothing but three points against Chelsea will be good enough," said Handley.

"Chelsea are a decent side and they'll be really pleased with what they've achieved this season. I'm sure they'll be looking for the three points themselves to go into the Continental Cup.

"You want to go into the cup games on the back of wins and brimming with a lot of confidence. So hopefully we can achieve that."
